Getting to Almhof Rupp and mobility in Kleinwalsertal

Riezlern is in Austria, but due to its special location it can only be reached via Germany. In Kleinwalsertal there is a well-organized bus network, which is free for guests of the valley with a guest card from the border. You pay the usual travel costs to the border. You will receive the guest card at reception upon arrival.

Getting to Almhof Rupp and mobility in Kleinwalsertal

Arrival by train and bus

The Walserbus is the feeder bus from Oberstdorf train station to Kleinwalsertal and runs every 10 to 20 minutes during the day. We can also issue you with an arrival ticket (€2 for adults, must be issued at least two days before arrival). Taxis are also available at Oberstdorf train station.

Oberstdorf train station is the destination station for all those arriving by train. There are direct connections from Munich (approx. 2 hours 20 minutes), Augsburg (approx. 2 hours 30 minutes), Memmingen (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes), Ulm (approx. 2 hours)
